The relationship between the short story The Veldt and the video is that they both could affect us in the future. Both The Veldt and the video is how technology can make life easier and about how that's not always a good thing. This is shown in The Veldt when the mother says, "I feel like I don't belong here. The house is a wife and mother now, and nurse for the children." This could be a good thing because when the mother is busy she could have the house cook and clean for her.
