The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - The Cure of Theoden

Amongst a vast plain lies the bustling city of Rohan. This city not alike others as it houses the greatest riders in all the lands and a grand wooden hall that houses the king of all Rohan; King Theoden.

On most days people would go about their own humble business and avoid conflict within the city. This was not like most days. A entourage of two men (Gandalf and Aragorn), an elf (Legolas) and a dwarf (Gimli). Each with their own set of skills and glorified heritage. Gandalf - a powerful wizard that fights to end the turmoil in Middle-Earth. Aragorn - The lost son of the king of Gondor and soon to be the leader of the army of the dead. Gandalf raises his voice for all to hear while continuing to march, entourage beside him “the courtesy of your hall is somewhat lessened of late, Theoden King.”
Grima continues his dark intent “he is not welcome.”
This causes King Theoden to cruelly ask with his worn out, old voice “why should I welcome you, Gandalf Stormcrow?” Looking at Grima afterwards.
“A just question my liege” exclaims Grima, staring into the King’s eyes. He turns towards the four men to continue his corruption, standing up slyly like a cobra lifts its head up before an attack, “late is the hour in which this conjurer chooses to appear. Lathspell I name him. Ill news is in ill guest.”
Gandalf is not demoralised, he stands his ground with the intent of curing Grima’s corruption. “Be silent! Keep your forked tongue behind your teeth. I have not passed through fire and death to bandy crooked words with a witless worm!” Revealing his staff in the process, showing all who see that it was not an old man’s walking stick.
“His staff! I told you to take the wizard’s staff!” worryingly shouts Grima as he retreats back towards the king he

“Harken to me!” Gandalf commands towards Theoden. As Theoden turns his slouched head towards the wizard the guards slowly approach; curious as to what is going to happen. Gandalf reaches an open hand out, palm towards the king, closes his eyes and says “I release you from this spell.”

For a moment there is silence, up until the corrupted king begins to laugh, such a laugh that allows air to escape as if he has been worn out through war and council. “You have no power here, Gandalf the Grey!”
Gandalf stares at the king for a moment and in an instant he rips off his grey cloak to reveal his new white gown, letting all know that he is now Gandalf the White. Theoden winces at the sight, panicking as if he were not himself. “I will draw you Saruman as poison is drawn from a wound.” Gandalf reveals that the king is not himself due to the white wizard, Saruman controlling him through Grima’s snakey tongue.
“Aghh” Theoden groans as Gandalf presses him with magic, drawing Saruman out. “If I go, Theoden dies!” Saruman attempts to survive through a lie.
“You did not kill me! You will not kill him!”
