Willow Charter Academy (WCA) is a charter school located in Lafayette, Louisiana and managed by National Heritage Academies (NHA). A close examination of WCA’s Faculty and Staff Handbook, Student and Parent Handbook and NHA’s Employee Handbook show correlation to the federal law and describes some policies and procedures related to students and staff. While the Employee Handbook references many relevant federal laws while describing their procedure, it rarely mentions anything state-specific as NHA operates nation-wide.
