[Introduction to TTIP]
The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is a FTA between United States of America(US) and European Union (EU). The TTIP mainly discusses the market access, regulatory convergence, and rules in order to maximize the potential economic growth in difficult economic situations in both regions. After the US proposed a TTIP to EU in February, 2013, it has been held the fourteenth round of negotiations. However, the negotiations from 2013 between US and EU have not been compromised yet. the lack of the system that leads a quick understanding of consistent social agreement among regions. For example, the US has a state system that respects the sole decision of the state government, which eventually led EU corporations hard to adapt numerous regulations and rules. Furthermore, EU has a difficulty in integrating the circumstances and interests of every member country. the difficulty of approaching the issues that hasn’t been solved for several decades of previous negotiations

Compromising the TTIP, which has strong impacts not only on economic factors but also on other cultural and political backgrounds, would become a mistake to EU. The political uncertainty that EU now bears may lead to the further exits of other countries or permanent damages to the EU.

Since the leadership of EU has been questioned from inside and outside of EU, it is crucial for EU to have a decisive move to turn down the concerns. The EU’s move to compromise the TTIP may seem as a venture that would possibly harm and bring the leadership in a critical condition.
