The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls is a memoir that takes the reader through a story of growing up in tough conditions. The most shocking about this book is that the terrifying events actually took place in real life. One of the flaws in the plot is that the plot is told in such a fast pace which made it hard for me to comprehend when a major event occurred. I know that living is a constant struggle for the Walls family, but I never could tell if they were in Welch, or on Little Hobart Street, or living somewhere else because they moved so quickly and abruptly.…

One of the most popular sports conspiracy theories to come out of the past Century will probably go down in history as the deflate gate . It entails the fact that the Patriots were accused of deflating footballs in the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts. Many believe that the Scandal has married a lot of holes and that is not fully born to be convicting Tom Brady quarterback of the New England Patriots of any wrongdoing. Though the Patriots have had a history of some sport scandals such as Spygate it does not solely reflect the face of the franchise Tom Brady. Brady is openly stated that he likes playing with the deflated football but has never admitted to deflating them himself or telling anyone to deflate them.…

Environmental Factors These refer to general situational factors that help keep a group together. An environmental influence is contractual responsibilities such as transfer rules, geographical restrictions or contractual obligations. An example of this in the film “Remember the Titans” is the geographical restriction of living in the town of Virginia. This restricting them to only one option and that is to play for the T.C Williams football team and is emphasised because “...none of [the] boys can afford to go to some other district just to play ball”. When citizens feel that the government isn’t doing their job or doing too much of their jobs, the people will fight for their rights. Sometimes people revolt peacefully in the form of organized protests and march’s, but other times people want more immediate results so they take the more violent course of action and start riots. A riot is defined as “temporary unruly collective behavior that causes damage to persons or property. Until recently the last major riot was in Los Angeles in 1992, which was a reaction to the controversy surrounding the Rodney King case since then there have been major riots in Ferguson, Missouri and Baltimore,…

Plot Clashes in Clash of the Titans Between Clash of the Titans, the original Greek story, and the 2010 movie, there are a variety of similarities and differences. Although both plot lines follow a similar pattern, the details in the Greek story are much different than the movie. Simply stated, in the movie version it is more about Perseus saving Princess Andromeda and reuniting with Io, while in the Greek mythology plot, Perseus is attempting to save his mother, Danae, from marrying the awful Polydectes by being challenged to chop off the head of Medusa. Similarities of this story and movie are that King Acrisius ordered the execution of his daughter, Danae, and her son, Perseus.…
