Now picture a society free of these issues; wouldn’t this free us from death? Neal Shusterman’s novel Scythe explores this idea, depicting a so called “ideal” society that, in reality, is far from ideal. A thrilling, intense and emotional journey, Scythe will keep you on the edge of your seat, dying to turn the page (no pun intended). I can easily say that this was one of the most entertaining books that I have ever read.
