The Spread Of Violence: The Syrian Civil War

Decent Essays
The Syrian Civil War has been a major problem in the word since it began in March of 2011. Though the war began with only two major views, the Syrian government’s and the rebels that oppose it, it now has four main networks of fighters. This would be the Kurdish forces, ISIS, the Assad resheim, and other opposition; like the Jaish al Fateh.

After only a year of fighting the death toll was thought to be 8,000 to 10,000. This fighting has lead to over 5 million people fleeing the country and 6.3 million people being displaced in the country itself. It is estimated that 400,000 Syrians have been killed in this war.
