The Spinal Column

Hello I am the Spinal Column also known as the Vertebral Column. I am located in many areas including, cervical (neck), thoracic (Chest/trunk),and the lumbar (low back). The main system I work with is, the skeletal system. My co-workers are the Anterior, Posterior Longitudinal Ligaments, Interspinous Ligaments, Supraspinous Ligament, Cervical Vertebral, and the Nuchal Ligament.

The Spinal Column has more than one function. One of the functions of the Spinal Column is to protect the Spinal Cord. It likewise gives solidifying to the body and connection for the pectoral and pelvic supports and numerous muscles. It helps a human transmit body weight when a human walks or stands. Also it provides stiffening for the body.
