The Song Of Myself is…
What is the most significant thing about someone, is it because they are big and strong? Or is it because there a brainiac? To achieve your goals you must determine your pros and cons about yourself. What I have learned about myself is that I am very hardworking and I have a motor that does not stop. I may not seem like a hard working person in the classroom but when it comes to my passions it is almost impossible to make me give up. That Sunday night I was returning home with my girlfriend driving me to meet my father. While driving she lost control of the vehicle and rolled and totaled it in the ditch between Rogers City and Alpena. I was ejected out of the car, I blacked out as I was ejected. As I came to my senses I woke up filled with blood everywhere, rips in my clothing, and one shoe on. All I could hear was the ringing of silence and I could feel my body pulsing as the blood poured off me. Long story short I had huge gashes everywhere from glass inside my body and I had internal bleeding in my left lower back and hip area. Three months prior to the accident I was very fortunate to make a division one AAU basketball team. During this time the season was coming to a close and I wanted to be back out doing the thing I love most. The predicted recovery process was around two months or a little more. I was back in the starting line up only a month later. I was determined to get back and play, I remember the day after Nathan McCoy came and visited me at home and the first thing we did was go outside and put up shots. It was at the worst time possible because I was starting to kick field goals and do kickoff the best I have ever been before. I remember the play that I hurt my leg on. It was during extra point, I felt my knee buckle and my groin rip in a different way than normal. A huge pain shot through my leg causing me to miss the extra point and instantly my leg was numb and I could not doing anything well for the longest time. My rebound process took about 3-4 weeks, I played through injury but I fought back again and healed myself back into the best condition I have ever been in. Now I find myself in a position to play college football at a high level and I will continue to try reach that goal through
