Some of my key takeaways of the seven slide series presentation has been in how miraculously our brain is made and how its function. Each part of the brain plays an important role .Our brain has state dependent function. Every human being has a functional system. This is new information for me. It is interesting to learn how our body functions and work with one another. The impact of trauma and how it affects each individual is very complex. Understanding the impact of trauma and its variation of the different patterns of how stress affect each person is very unique in their style. The neurons plays and important part in the brain and it has the ability to adjust to sensitivity and reaction. Being aware of trauma will guide each social worker to support our client and to help heal in the recovery of each one of person (Van Der Kolk, 2014). Policy makers are taking into account how trauma has impacted others with practice based research. Trauma Informed Care (TIC) has been implemented in programs such as mental health, substance abuse and childhood traumas. Having these factors in place will ensure that individuals have access to better intervention in working with their problems. Keeping in mind that no matter what trauma implications brings the body always keep the score and therefore, will bring up many other health related
