In Christianity, a sin is defined as "a transgression of the law of God" (1 John3:4). The concept of sin is as prevalent in today's society as it was when it was first constructed. The "Capital Vices" also known as the "Seven Deadly Sins" are teachings of the Catholic faith. These sins are often seen as the abuse of the most natural desires; and are thought to be "the gateway" to other corruptions, such as murder and adultery. However sin is an ever evolving concept as time passes and actions become normalized, one wonders, what exactly are they, but the real question is how sin affects us today?
