Parishioners at the Church of Scientology believe that Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is singlehandedly changing the planet because that is what they are taught, according to former member Leah Remini.
Since Remini left the Church of Scientology in 2013, she has been openly criticizing the church and its practices. At present, the Hollywood actress is part of new A&E series “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” in which she reveals the church’s most controversial practices, Today relays.
Before the show’s premiere on Tuesday, Remini answered questions in a Reddit Ask Me Anything session. During that session, she revealed that she gave millions to the Church of Scientology. She also indicated that the members hold Tom Cruise in high regard.
