Critiquing is the act of critical appraisal whereby a person critically and objectively evaluates an academic document for scientific merit and validity, as well as, the clinical practise application (LoBiondo-Wood, & Haber, 2013). Public policy is the "course of actions or inaction chosen by public authorities to address a given problem or interrelated set of problems" (Pal, 2006, p. 2).
