Painters or artist usually puts their feelings into paintings. One example is Picasso, he had a whole slew of paintings that the artist labeled as the Blue Period. This is because he painted his paintings in different shades of blue portraying depressing pictures. So with paintings, like Picasso, they sort their paints into feelings, blue for sad, red for angry, yellow for happy, etc. Writers also do this, if they are happy they usually write about something happy, or the character ends with a happy ending. Another example is John green. In his book Paper Towns, the character that the protagonist is trying to find in the entire book, was supposed to die in the end, but instead changed it so that she lives. If you are determined to achieve your goal, then you can do anything, become anything you want to be when you get older. When the quote says ‘the universe in in your mind and hands’ , it also means that everything is up to you. You can paint your life and future to the way you want it to be. When I was younger, about nine, a family member asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. Like any other kid, I said I wanted to be a doctor, or something great like that. Since that was only four years ago, I didn't really know what I wanted to be. Every now and then my mind tosses around ideas like a veterinarian, army, horseback rider, but in reality, I didn't know what I was going to do or really even be. Even now I still don't, but every time I get a new dream or thing I want to do, I work for it to make it happen. Recently, I decided that one day I want to live in Japan, another country across the world. Since that day I've been pushing myself to learn Japanese and read Kanji. Even if one day I decide I don't want that to be where my life should be heading, than oh well, at least I got the chance and experience to learn a new language. Another example was when I wanted to do horseback riding. My whole life I loved horses and the open air, so one day I decided to try it out. Both of my parents had been fully supportive and helped me get lessons. I stayed with it for almost three years until my instructor had to move to another
