In the health industry effective communication plays a vital role in teamwork as they constantly interact and give medications. When health care professionals are in team, group performance and understanding of the work becomes easy. When health care professionals work as a team they are able to provide a better care for patients and this enable them achieve a high outcome. However, for an optimum understanding in team work there must be co-operation. Without co-operation, effective communication cannot exist. However, results has proven that where there is high risk effective team work achieves high goals successfully where as poor team results in medical errors and health issues. Therefore, to work effectively in a team, it is important to communicate with each other. Communication in a team is all about sharing knowledge and understanding each other.
