I strongly believe that college is already unaffordable because of its high tuition costs and it usually requires some outside sources such as a student loan or scholarships to help pay for it. Colleges try to exploit it by raising tuition cost to make maximum profit and do little about those that need help. For many students, it is such a huge financial drain on them that when some are asked for their opinion of the cost of tuition, many agreed that it was higher than it needed to be as they had to find some way to pay off tuition fees and many other expenses throughout the year.
