In the article, “The Power of Why” the author uses confidence in reason as his first point in his article since this is very important to use when voicing your opinion so people can know you believe in what you are saying. The author talks about various workshops that can be used to help increase individuals confidence to emphasize the points they are making and help them be comfortable to convince others about the points they are making. Curiosity is also used specifically in this article because everyone needs to express interest in what they do and ask questions to learn more since this will expand everyone’s ideas. “Leaders can also encourage company-wide questioning by being more curious and inquisitive themselves….They could set a better example by asking “why” and “what if” — while asking others to do likewise.” Different individuals throughout companies can expand their ideas by asking a variety of questions that can help everyone express more interest in a new thought or idea.
