Jack London classic story how to build a fire and the movie the revenant by Alejandro González Iñárritu is a remarkable story of two different man journeys to the finish line. Although both stories bear some clear similarities the differences between the reverent and how to build a fire are evident. Such as the tone, theme and as well as characters.
In both stories they have very similarities when it comes to the tone in how the story was told, but as well as have silent difference. In how to build a fire the mood of the stories slowly changes as he discovers how unprepared he is for the cold at first the story was told in a slow monotones voice then later became more exciting as we learn more about the unnamed mans unconcerned personality.as the story progresses the mood of the story also alters as the man get more into trouble with the weather. the mood of the story turns more darker and more extreme. In focus on how Mother Nature can’t be overpowered by humans. In the movie, the reverent is Set in 1823 this film captures the diverse variations of nature over man and how our lead hero paves his way out of it. The theme is like the story in the movie is themed around glass the main character in his quest for revenge as well as survive the wilderness. In both the stories and the film the audience learn the constant struggle the character’s face with nature as they embark in their journey. Even though both characters display the struggle of survival where as in the reverent the theme is driven by revrange where as in how to build a fire it was driven by his perseverance to meet the camp
