When Reading the Boston Photographs by Nora Ephron it cause many to question the theories of right versus wrong on what the media should and should not do when it reports what it considers to be news worthy. Should a picture in the act of death with the shadow of The Reaper clearly stained into the films emotion be shown to the masses or should the privacy of the human mind and dis-involved ignorance of humanity take hold over what is acceptable when viewing the realities of the world. You could have had some award-winning photographs of her underpants as her skirt billowed over her head, you voyeurs.” In this example the individual directly attacks the character of the publisher in a way to shield her own mind and heart from the emotions taking place within her own subconscious as many will do whenever something causes them to question their own beliefs and thoughts but this does not make it any less necessary to show these thing to broaden our focus and not let those who would be hypocritical distract from the truths that are around in every deep and dark corner and sunlit expanse. The photographs are a black spot on a day in history but instead of looking away people must embrace the reality of what is present let that emotion into themselves so that they may gain a better understanding of the world, its horrors and be able to truly enjoy its
