Free trade is supposed to break down barriers between nations when it comes to trading. Barriers such as tariffs and VATs (Value Added Taxes) are being reduced. In the documentary, “Coca-Cola: The Real Story Behind the Real Thing” we are introduced to a man who is just one of the people who transport shipments of Coke to South Africa. Melissa Lee, the documentary reporter, even states that they are able to transport over 85000 2 litre bottles of Coke in the span of a week.
