The CEO Warren Buffett, Chief Executive Officer of Berkshire Hathaway once said, "It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you’ll do things differently." Being a CEO is a job that has always appeared to be interesting to me. It takes several years of hard work and dedication and getting to know people. My dad is a CEO and I see how he lives and how he enjoys life. I aspire to be just like him. I researched what the requirements are to be a CEO and what ones background has to be. Becoming a CEO will not be easy, but it is definitely possible if I put my mind to it. There are smarter people out there and more aggressive people out there, but those people cannot be the focus. To become a “big time” business man, it takes talent and education. In the book “Careers in focus”, it explains that “To become an executive you will need at least a bachelor’s degree” (Careers in focus #99). This explains that college might be a good choice in becoming a CEO. Becoming a CEO is not easy, but seeing how hard my dad has to work and how hard he did work to get where he is inspires me to do so myself. Another quote out of the book “Careers in focus” is not what a lot of high school kids want to hear “High school courses that will help you become an executive include business, mathematics and computer science” (Careers in focus #99). I think children often blow off high school but little do they realize that high school courses do indeed matter. I want to be a CEO and I am willing to work hard to become
