Standardized tests are any form of test that (1) requires all test takers to answer the same questions, or a selection of questions from common bank of questions, in the same way, and that (2) is scored in a “standard” or consistent manner, which makes it possible to compare the relative performance of individual students or groups of students. These tests usually have multiple choice and true or false fill in the circle test questions and are required to be taken within a certain amount of time. Standardized test, in the US, take place in most schools and institutions and are thought to be the best way to calculate the academic performance of a child. However, this is not true, standardized test don’t actually measure the knowledge of a child and should be removed for this reason
