When some individuals attempt to become President, they mainly focus on receiving the majority on their side. The point is to win people over with ideas for change, positivity, and overall wellness in society. When election takes place, approval ratings are cast for the individuals running to be the next president, former President Obama’s rating was at 70% in the early months of 2009, but fell by the end of the summer to 50%. Why did this huge drop occur? Weren’t people excited to have a new president with fresh ideas and a great deal of passion for the country?
