Improved Essays
Almost seven years ago on November 4, 2008 we found out that Barack Obama would be our 44th president of the United States. Barack Obama has been a successful president; just like any president he completed promises, broke promises and compromised promises. Before Barack Obama was president he ran as a democrat and won the election in 1996 for Illinois state senator (Biography.com Editors, N.d). In Obamas presidential campaign he made promises on what he was going to do and change; he did keep some of the promises he said he was going to accomplish. The Pros of a Donald Trump Presidency American politics have always fascinated me. President Obama’s Hypocrisy President Barack Hussein Obama is the forty fourth president of the United States elected in 2008 and he is the first president, under the constitution, of African descent. He worked his way up from the Illinois State Senate to the US Senate and was officially sworn in as president on January 20, 2009. Given his background in politics, logically, people assumed that he was a responsible, trustworthy candidate for president; however, his actions prove otherwise. His past work does not stand for his mental ability to run and decide for a country. Instead of his idea of “hope” and “change”, his presidency has brought the United States to the brink of ruin.…

When people began judging president Trump for the idea of a ban on Muslims entering the United States, he quoted as a relevant historical event, World War II and the proclamations issued by then-President Franklin D. Trump described Roosevelt's policies as "far worse," but history experts have suggested the former president's wartime decisions weren't a good example for Trump to use at all.
