They would simply wait it out or until they were on the verge of dying. My mom would not go to the doctor’s because of how expensive it was. One day she was in her room doing her hair and I was in my room, she was complaining that her head had been hurting for a couple of days now but had assumed it was nothing. Before I knew it I heard her fall on the floor. I ran to her room and saw that she passed out. That was one of the scariest moments of my life, I panicked and called my aunt since she lives down the street and when I was telling her what happened to my mom she began waking up. My mom looked so dazed and confused. I asked her what happened and she said she felt dizzy and out of it. “I must have passed out I guess.” I told her she needed to go to the doctors but she refused. “We don 't have money for me to be going to the doctors. Don 't worry about it I 'll be fine.” That’s when I realized how important it is to take care of yourself and go to the doctors even when it is something as minor as a headache.
Since Obamacare has came into effect, large businesses are required to insure their employees, and as of the month of January almost 7 million people have enrolled in the program. This may seem like a disadvantage for the company but they receive tax credits to help with healthcare costs. (K.
