According to passage two on page five of the syllabus their proven evidence. “The choice between preserving core 1st amendment values and regulations ads for alcoholic beverage is a particular easy on when there is little evidence of any connection between alcohol advertisement and underage drinking” ( Milhorn 5). Also that we shouldn’t comprise advertisement of their first amendment. In addition, to that an eighteen year old is can decide to serve their country, and decide who the next president is but they are not allowed to drink. Our government has some flaws in their system. Deciding who is the next president is an important decision just as being allowed to drink . Watching alcohol ads do not promote have little influence on underage drinking there is not enough evidence to prove this fact. In both passages they had some great points that support their position, but one was more convincing than the other. Passage 1 had factual information, there was research that was actually conducted. However, passage two was more conniving, even though there were was no research and it seemed based on opinion. When reading passage two it grabs the reader’s attention when the reader’s first start reading. Passage two was very appealing to the audience and after reading it makes the reader stop and think about is their really proof of alcohol advertisements
