The Pattern In Panchito's The Circuit

The pattern in “The Circuit” that I recognize is how Panchito is sad when arriving to a new place. In the beginning Panchito says he will miss how things work. In paragraph 3, it continues by saying “Ya esora, he yelled in broken spanish...the thought of not hearing those words again saddened me”. The paragraph shows that he will miss how certain things work, since it will never be like that again. Another piece of evidence is paragraph 6, when he clearly says he hated the move. The paragraph before it also gives another piece of evidence when it says “The thought of having to move to Fresno and knowing what would be in store for me brought tears to my eyes”. Furthermore, It talks about how moving makes him sad, since he will have to move again anyways

Additionally, the theme of “The Circuit” is that Panchito wants to be himself and belong to society, but this is a challenge for him because his family needs to constantly move to make a living. One challenge is how in his last month of school, he had gotten to know his teacher better and be friends with Mr. Lema. However, that came to an end in paragraph 32 when he found out they were moving because the picking season was over. Before he found out above the move, Panchito asks his teacher for help. Later that day, Mr. Lema

I've learned so much about my learning style in this chapter and it's basically things that I already knew about myself but wasn't able to articulate them properly. By learning these patterns I can see how they will be effective and help me in my life as far as work and my personal relationships.…

The plot of the story consisted of many different things. In the exposition, the author told what Welches life story was up until that point. It also introduced the main character Michael Vey, the electroclan and what he has been doing in the last few book. One more thing that happened in the exposition is that the author wrote how much hatch hates the electroclan and what he would do to them is he ever got his hands on them. The last thing that I noticed in the exposition is a conflict.…

Urban schools are most always portrayed in a negative light. Such is the case in the movie called Stand and Deliver which takes place in a high school in East Los Angeles during the 1980’s. This movie is based off a true story about a teacher by the name of Jaime Escalante, played by Edward Olmos, who worked diligently with a group of roughneck students because he thought that every student has the potential to learn. He believed that if the students and teacher had enough “Ganas” or motivation that students would supersede the expectations of any educational setting. Armed with his motivation he set out to teach 18 students far more math than they ever imagined they would learn; he taught them Calculus for them to take the AP Calculus Exam.…
