Introduction From time to time, the relationship of economic activities and environment are being concerned since the industrialize and modernize activities are flourishing. There is no doubt that human are taking advantage of the environment for commercial purposes directly or indirectly. The harm of these activities are unavoidable such as air pollution, waste pollution and land overused. Green logistic are build on the awareness of balancing the negative impact of logistics activities and the damage on environment since transport operation is the most important role of logistics.

Logistic Logistic is a process that controls all activities from raw materials to final destination of the finished product(White, 2015). The three main flows …show more content…
According to Rodrigue, Slack and Comtois(n.d.), the five basic paradoxes of logistics are costs, timing, reliability, warehousing. Delivery and transport costs is the one of the most important sectors in logistic. Nowadays, due to the technological improvement, the consumption of the fuel are more efficient and the price are cheaper. To take the advantage of it, businesses start to transport goods to longer distance. However, the longer mile of the freight, the more damage to the environment. For instance, a southern German yogurt supply chain transport their products to the northern of Germany which were being criticize because its supply chain is lack of efficiency("The Food Mile: Yogurt Supply Chain, Germany", n.d.). Rodrigue, Slack and Comtois(n.d.) noted that reducing the time flow indirectly to be the method of the least efficient and most polluting transportation method. This is indicated that the fast delivery is now a trend for company to satisfying customers to improve their competence and sales network.
