1. Define the nine dimensions of wellness discussed in the text and, for each dimension, list two behaviors or habits that would promote its development. Physical Wellness- Physical Wellness encourages us to take care of our bodies by exercising , eating well, and keeping balance of mental health. Every decision you make can affect your physical wellness

Emotional Wellness – Emotional Wellness is being happy and having a good mindset. Everything from your health can affect your emotional wellness. You need to be happy with yourself. To achieve Emotional Wellness , you need to overcome all the problem syou have. You need all the negative to go away.

Identify and describe the two broad national goals of Healthy People 2020. Then choose one of the special population groups described in Healthy People 2020, and identify two health issues of particular importance for that group. One broad national goal of Healthy People 2020 is destroying disease, disabilities, injuries, and deaths at birth. Another broad national goal of Healthy People 2020 is help people be healthy and have good health care. Latinos have a very high infant mortality rate and a higher birth rate then the rest of the population. lAtinos also have high levels of gallbladder disease and obesity which leads into a high rate of …show more content…
List the five major steps in a personalized plan to bring about behavior change. Select a target behavior, and briefly describe how you would apply the steps to that behavior.

Precontemplation- You start to find out something weird is happening ,but you don’t really take it seriously or you don’t take it as a problem. You don’t plan to take action at all.

Contemplation- You start to see your behavior as a problem now. You start to worry a little and think how can you change your behavior

Preparation- You start to come up with a plan to solve all your behavior problems. You need to start to have a good mindset if you want to be successful. You need start thinking you can solve all your behavior problems. Always stay positive no matter what.

Action- Don’t be taking the easy way out or taking shortcuts. You have to start pushing yourself to the limit, set goals , and start to ask people for help.

Maintenance- You start to fix your plan up. If you don’t feel comfortable with a part of your pan then change it right away. That part of the plan that you don’t feel comfortable with can start to keep you away from
