This is my first time being eligible to vote for the presidential election, and of course, I am going to vote. Although this is my first time being able to vote for the president, it is not my first time voting. Last year when we had our own state elections for our government, was the first “major election” I participated in. It was an awesome experience. I felt like I had a say. Many people do not understand why it is important to vote. People believe that their vote won't matter when in fact it does. About 20 percent of the voting population happens to be young voters in the age range of 18 to 29.
