The Nagasaki International Tourism and Convention Association (NITCA) is an organization which deals with tourism and meeting aspects in Nagasaki, Japan. Nagasaki is located in the southeast part of Japan and one of the most famous tourism destinations because it has unique histories and cultures. According to the Nagasaki Tourism statistics, the total number of tourists to Nagasaki was 31,302,822 in 2013 (Nagasaki Tourism Statistics, 2014, p. 1). Also, 838,251 tourists visited Nagasaki from foreign countries in 2013 (Nagasaki Tourism Statistics, 2014, p. 6). The tourism is becoming an important industry and NITCA has more responsibilities on the tourism of Nagasaki.

As the setting section indicated, the audience of the Nagasaki International Tourism and Convention Association has various types of the audience such as hotels, restaurants, and transportation companies. The frontstage of the NITCA should be these companies themselves and the tourists who visit these locations. For example, a hotel has a relationship with the NITCA and some brochures created by the NITCA are set on the front desk of the hotel.
