Teachers have many roles throughout a school day, therefore requires a multiple of skills or attributes to be an outstanding educator. Some of the most important skills are classroom management, communication, content knowledge and strong relationships. It is important for a teacher to demonstrate these to help ensure students get the support needed to be successful. A strong relationship with your students and their parents is an important part of the foundation of being an outstanding teacher. Without the mutual respect, students will not be eager to learn from you and parents will not support the teacher. When a teacher displays genuine care and respect towards a student, they become fully engaged and excited to step into your classroom.
