Who cause the Cold War
Both sides had their own opinions on ideology, they both had different perspectives. The United States view was based on free market capitalism, individualism, and personal rights. The soviets practiced socialism, as their ideology. This caused both sides to fear each other because they assumed that both nations would try to take over. Military factors did a very big impact on the Cold War. It was only caused because they both feared spheres of influence and ideologies expanding. There were plenty major events that occurred in the Cold War. One of the major events is the Containment. The geography of the Cold War involved containment which was really important and was a big influence to the Cold War. Containment is a United States policy to prevent the spread of communism, it was very complex to United States policy, Korean War, and Cuban Missile. The Soviet red army established communist they then created the “ Iron Curtain “ that separated East Germany, Poland, Hungary, Czecholslovakia, Yugoslavia, Ukraine, Belarus, Romania, Bulgaria, Lativa, Estonia, and Lithuania. Another important event is the Berlin Chrisis and Airlift. Stalin forced out Berlin by cutting all the highways and any access to the Western. This was a very big thing for the Soviets and U.S. Harry S. Truman could not afford Stalin’s threats anymore. He then ordered American airplanes to drop food and supplies to the West Berlin 's. Containment was used towards the Soviet Union but the Russians did not agree but, must be long term. The containment are expensive tendencies from the Russians. The Cold War tension between the U.S. and the Soviets exploded in Korea. In June 25, 1950 North Korea invaded South Korea for the first time.
