Indeed, Prufrock is very insecure about the way he looks. Prufrock states a flaw, “With a bald spot in the middle of my hair” (Eliot 40). Prufrock finds many flaws that makes him unattractive to women. He possibly receive a negative reaction because of his bald spot and other unappealing body features. For every flaw Prufrock see makes him feel more insecure. Prufrock could also be insecure because he might be the only man who has trouble finding love.
