Long before saving the Earth became a global concern, Dr. Seuss, speaking through his character the Lorax, warned against mindless progress and the danger it posed to the Earth’s natural beauty.
Your Mission
Read the book and think about how it relates to us today. Write a letter to Mother Earth stating what you will do to preserve her. Your letter should be submitted electronically and sent as an attachment to Mrs. Jarrett at ajarrett@henry.k12.va.us by NO LATER than MIDNIGHT, TUESDAY, AUGUST 11.
