One of his stories was the Tell Tale Heart. In the tell tale heart there is a man who serves an older man. This older man has one scary foggy eye. The servant creeps in the old man's room every night and tries to look at the terrible eye. Then the old man hears the servant, the servant thinks that someone will hear the old man so he kills him. The servant dismembers the old man and puts him in the floor boards. Later the police come and ask if anything happened because the neighbors heard a noise. The servant said no and the check his room. Then the servant heart kept beating louder and louder when the police were still there. It got so loud the servant yelled and showed the police the dead body. The main characters in this story were the servant, the old man, and the police officers. This all happened in a house or apartment. Edgar Allen Poe used a style of narrator in this story. He had a twisted theme in most of the stories he wrote. This story’s theme was insanity and horror.
The Landlady and the Tell Tale Heart are great stories, but in my opinion the Tell Tale Heart is better. I like the Tell Tale Heart more because the story makes more sense. In the Landlady, the story stops and does not say what happens next. In the Tell Tale Heart the story explains what happens and finishes. I also like how in the Tell Tale Heart is written in the style of a narrator. The
