When a huge natural disaster occurs as such, and takes many lives of the innocent townspeople living in Indonesia, it makes sense that lots of bodies came to land. It is said that about 228,000 people were killed in the tsunami, but the problem was that there wasn’t space to place the dead bodies, so Ruslan had to work with the people who did end up surviving to get rid of the bodies that were washed up on shore. According to the article, Melioidosis in Tsunami survivors, “The patients were treated 10–35 days after the tsunami. Eight had bilateral alveolar opacities on chest radiograph; 3 also had empyema.” The amount of people placed in hospitals was crazy. When Ruslan and Sarah had to work together to get Peter to a physician safely, it wasn’t easy at all, just like how so many hurt and sick people were taken into the hands of medical experts. Peter was in need of care from a doctor, but the three of them had to go to two different places to get the care they wanted and needed. So, Ruslan and Sarah had to use their social skills and work together, even if it wasn’t the easiest fight, Peter was brought to a hospital in search of medicine safely by Ruslan and Sarah.
