One thing is evident throughout the entire play is the stage direction which illustrates the struggle for power. One stage direction that happens often is the “click” (832-837) of the clicker. The Teacher is the one controlling the clicker throughout most of the play. He controls each different scenario and The Good Samaritan and The Jumper can do nothing else but let The Teacher have this control. Finally, half way through the play The Jumper and The Good Samaritan ignores when “The Teacher continues to click” (836). These characters are revolting against The Teacher which causes him to lose control of the situation. “The Good Samaritan takes out a clicker and freezes The Teacher” this is the moment The Good Samaritan comes to life and takes
