When he finally found Medusa and her sister’s who were asleep at the time he entered. He wore the helmet of invisibility being careful not to wake them. He chopped Medusa’s head off with the sickle (sword) and used the shield to carry her head to the bag where it could safely be kept. Her sisters had awaken, they chased after him, he escaped using the winged sandals and invisibility helmet. He brought back the head to King Polydectes and learned that he was trying to force Danea into marrying him, Perseus wasn’t too fond of that idea and used Medusa’s head to turn the king to stone. He had finally completed his task and saved his mother from an awful guy and gave the king what he really deserved, death.
Other people may argue and say that Perseus isn’t a hero at all but someone looking for attention. They say that he went out on this adventure to complete a task that was for sure to get him killed.
