This experiment concluded to the point that seeds do grow faster in darkness, than in light. The hypothesis stated that seeds will grow faster in the darkness, which was demonstrated in this experiment. In the data table under seeds that grow in darkness had an average height of 1.85 centimeters, whereas for seeds in light average height is 0.45 centimeters, substantiating the claim that the pea plants in dark have a higher success rate than those in the light. The seeds in the darkness, sprouted earlier than those in the light. Seeds in the dark started sprouting on day 1 of the experiment. Seeds in light, started sprouting on day 4, giving a 3 day head start to the seeds in the darkness.
