For the most part they were great role models and taught me a lot about life. They were toughened me up while still being nice and compassionate when they needed to be. One negative aspect of growing up with them was they showed little emotion. This trait was projected onto me as I have always struggled with expressing my emotions to others which is unhealthy. The riffs at the beginning of each chapter got me interested in the subject and made me think outside the box. I like the size of the pages and the fairly large font. It made it easy to read, especially with the italicized words with the main idea of the page in a black box. I also though the activities at the end of each chapter that we did for class assignments made your purpose effective. It made it personal to the reader and I felt it made the context more intense. It is a book that forces you to engage in both the meaning of the chapters and how they are relevant in your
