The Influence Of Footbal Football

The Super Bowl has been an American tradition for 51 years, but this would not have been without the Vince Lombardi Idea. Vince Lombardi once said that, “perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.” (see more with fig. 1) Lombardi had gone with that quote his whole life, and “was the first coach to win a Super Bowl in January 1967” (Nations). Lombardi coached for seven years on the packers, and in those seven years he had won seven titles, including the first two Super Bowls.

Lombardi may have put an affect on the way football is played, and how people enjoy watching the game, but the main reason people watch football is for their favorite teams. Everyone roots for their team to go to the Super Bowl, but only two teams can go into the Super Bowl, and only one comes out champion. The top winning players according to statista the top Super Bowl wins goes to the Pittsburgh Steelers, with six wins and the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49rs, and Dallas Cowboys are right behind with five wins.
