The Influence Of Crimes In Iraq

Rape, murder, kidnapping, and pillage; four actions that have terrified society since the beginning of time, but now have been pushed to the extreme. Why these crimes being committed and what is the government doing to prevent this? To answer these questions, a more salient question must be answered. Who is behind these crimes? This group of extreme activists goes by the title of ISIS, also known as Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Since its establishment in 2014, the militant Jihadists group, ISIS, has terrorized the country of Iraq in attempts to gain more land and create their own nation with strict Sharia law. With a vast amount of knowledge about war and an outrageous brutality record, this group of extreme activists not only show the world how ambitious they are, but also portray that they are unlike other terrorist groups, in fact, they are worse. When it comes to the size of this organization, “the CIA said the group was believed to be up to 30,000 fighters strong including local supporters and growing”. Being supported by the Sunni population, ISIS has been able to obtain their powerful stance and inflict fear around the world through military training and methods of torture against women, children, and minorities. Not only is this organization a major conflict for inhabitants of the Middle East, but they are also a plight for the United States of America.
