This problem often takes shape in the form of being many are singled for extensive searches when boarding a plane. For example a 36 year old woman who is half Jewish and half-Arab was yanked off an airplane at Metro Airport in Detroit on the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks , She was then placed in a cell where she was ordered to strip naked and forced to squat, and cough while an officer looked at her . This is an act of dehumanization because you’re stripping a U.S citizen of their rights due to their skin color which shouldn’t play a role on whether or not one is a criminal.
Racial profiling is not only a violation of personal rights, it is a violation of one’s constitutional rights. I do agree that profiling should be used to be on guard, when racial profiling is needed to identify a suspect in a precise crime and when differentiating features are essential. Otherwise, it is an unnecessary Law enforcement should stop using racial profiling altogether, for it typically wastes time and money. Using race-neutral methods, such as neutrality behavior, is beneficial to our society, while racial profiling is not
