The core values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage are not only important to follow when servicing the people of the United States, but also when communicating and working together as a team. Every soldier lives by these establish ethics. They are also rated on these ethics but in their daily careers. The importance of values are stressed at every level, every day. Failure to uphold these values may result in repercussions or termination.
The Army promotes career advancement, great salary, and benefits. These factors differentiate professions from jobs by creating retention and professionals. The creation of longevity allows employers to have knowledgeable and skilled workers who can complete tasks effectively and with efficiency. The salary and benefits provided allow service members to support themselves and their families without stress or financial burden.
