Working at Green Paradise was a huge learning experience for me. Here are details of a few treatments that I did at Green Paradise.
Anti Callus Treatment - Procedure
Request the customer to sit on the chair and ask them to lift both legs
Check the condition of the legs
If the condition of one leg is worse than the other leg, warp the leg that is in good condition with a towel. Then wrap the other leg with a towel.
Once both the legs are wrapped with a towel, wait for about 10 minutes.
Open the wraps and scrape the feet gently until it becomes soft
When finished, scrub the customer’s feet using a foot exfoliator
To remove dirt and dead skin, wash the feet with warm water
Dry the feet using a towel and apply lotion on the feet. This will make

Working in the industry taught me how to be a responsible and independent person. During industrial training, I learnt the importance of punctuality and time. I made sure I reached saloon on time and completed the task in the given time period. Also, I learnt the importance of wearing neat and clean clothes. I made sure the uniform given by Green Paradise was neat and clean, because it reflected my personality. All these things have really helped improving by self-management skills. After completing my industrial training, I have learnt to manage my daily life and improve my performance.
Improve Problem Solving Skills
My work at Green Paradise has taught me how to handle problems. In hospitality industry, you cannot be rude to your guest. Customers are important and you cannot be rude to them even when their behaviour is inappropriate. You must learn to handle customers without hurting them. There was one instance when my colleague was scolded because she had not done her job properly. We had to redo the job once again to satisfy the client. Therefore, it is important to understand problem situations and react appropriately.
Also, it is important to get guidance from people who have several years of experience in the field. Without the guidance of senior staff members, it becomes extremely difficult to solve problem situations. The senior staff members teach and share their knowledge which

These skills are especially important when you communicate with the customers. At Green Paradise, I learnt the importance of communicating in English because many international customers visited our saloon. At times, they used slangs that I found difficult to understand. So I made it a point, to read English newspapers to improve my vocabulary. I also paid attention to the words used by the international customers when I communicated with them. All these steps helped me in understanding what they were saying and improved my communication skills. I also realized that you must me confident when you interact with customers. If you are not confident, you will not able convince your customers. Good communication skills will ensure that right information is delivered to the customers in a manner that is acceptable to
