Water is essential for life to exist on Earth. It exists as a solid, liquid, and gas and is common in every state. Covering about 75% of Earth’s surface and 70-90% of mass in living organisms, water is the most abundant liquid on Earth (Sarquis). In the Bible, water is mentioned many times in the Old and New Testament. The unique physical properties such as hydrogen bonding, evaporation, and surface tension are mentioned in the Bible and help to prove the existence of a Creator through not only faith, but science.
Psalm 65:9-10 states “You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.” This verse is praising God for his creation …show more content…

There is an explanation and reason for everything that God created and it is said in the Bible and proven through science. If faith alone is not enough for a person to believe in an intelligent creator, it is important for them to see how God’s word is true and can be proven, especially through the properties of water.
