Veteran’s Day, what is it? Many individuals aren’t sure what Veteran’s Day celebrates, some even confuse Veteran’s Day to Memorial Day. Veteran’s Day is a day to give thanks to all American veterans; it doesn’t matter whether they are dead or alive. But it is especially given thanks to living veterans who have served their country. We celebrate Veteran’s Day by holding ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery. Another way we celebrate is by having parades in New York City, for those who are not able to attend either one of these; you will be able to watch it on television.
