Trump is a strong believer in supplying jobs, something the founders would most definitely believe in. In one of his speeches in Ohio Trump said, “We’re bringing your businesses back. We’re bringing your jobs back.”(Donald Trump policies.) He also believed strongly in free trade, which the founding fathers were really passionate about during their time. He states, “I am all for free trade, but it's got to be fair.”(ontheissues.org) Clearly, free trade and jobs will benefit our economy. We will make more money with more jobs and be more stable. The founding fathers would agree with more jobs because they were in a time of low income because of the taxes the British put on them and need to have a stable job to pay off these taxes. The Founding Fathers would also agree with free trade as long as it is beneficial, because during mercantilism they didn’t have free trade and the trade they did have was only beneficial to Britain.
