I believe in texting back. Texting back is a way to tell someone you are thinking about them and they are on your mind. You can cheer someone up just by picking them up a texting them. People can put a smile on your face just by hearing your special ringtone for them or seeing their name light up your phone. My boyfriend left for college this year and and he can be busy with work and school, but he always makes time for me by texting me cute little things. He will not be able to text but he will find 5 second to text me “I love you princess” and my day instantly gets better. Yes, you are fighting, but they are still texting you back. They care enough to continue arguing with you when most would just stop. You can tell a person everything you love about them over text. You can tell them you miss them. You can tell someone all of your problems and they will instantly give you advice. Some think that texting can be annoying and that us kids are always on our phones. In reality that is how we become friends with people. You text someone about class work and then you can keep the conversation going and then bam. You have a new friend. Thats how we get closer to our friends. You can text someone and tell them happy birthday and brighten their day without seeing them. You can also tell someone good news or bad news over a text. My sophomore year, my now ex-best friend's grandfather died. I had known him since I was in kindergarten and he was like my own grandfather. She texted me and told me the news, but I would not have even known about this until the next time I saw her if people did not
